The company specializes in creating high-quality beverages for both local and international markets, paying special attention to craftsmanship, consistent quality, and continuous development. Participation in leading international competitions and the recognition received there confirms the company’s commitment to high standards and its desire to represent Uzbekistan with dignity on the global stage.
“Premium Uzbekistan” participated for the first time in the international competition IWSC in Georgia and confidently took an honorable place among the winners – every sample presented by the company was awarded.
After this significant success in the competition, we asked for an interview with the Commercial Director of “Premium Uzbekistan,” Valery Khegay. He is responsible for shaping the company’s commercial strategy, strengthening the global positioning of its brands, and presenting them in both domestic and international markets.
Why did you decide to participate in the competition, and what factors determined your decision? We made the decision to participate in the competition shortly after receiving the invitation, because for us, the IWSC competition is considered one of the most authoritative and objective international platforms in the alcoholic beverage industry. Our desire to cooperate was based on several important factors: the combination of objective professional tasting and expert evaluation by an international jury.
In addition, it was important for us to receive an independent assessment of the quality of our beverages and to understand how competitive they are in the global market. Participation in IWSC is not just a competition, but an opportunity to confirm that beverages produced in Uzbekistan meet the highest international standards.
This was your first participation, and all the beverages you presented received awards. How do you evaluate this result?
The result of our first participation significantly exceeded our expectations. The awarding of all submitted samples is a high evaluation and important recognition of our team’s collective work — from production to final quality control.
We are very satisfied with the organization of the competition, the professionalism and expertise of the jury, and the overall atmosphere of the event. Particularly valuable were the live discussions with representatives of leading international companies, the exchange of experience, and professional meetings.
IWSC is truly a community that unites the industry and defines important directions for its development.
What are your future plans? How will your cooperation continue, and do you plan to participate again?
Undoubtedly, participation in IWSC was not a one-time event for us. Receiving awards does not mean the end of our search for further progress; rather, it marks a new stage of perfection. We plan to continue participating in the competition, presenting new products, and further improving the existing ones.
At the same time, the IWSC experience strengthens us in terms of exports and gives us additional motivation to further consolidate our brand’s positioning in international markets. We see this competition as a long-term partner and as an important guide for our quality and sustainable development strategy.
